Protecting your privacy is important to us. This policy defines the rules for how MTÜ SATU Dialoog (hereinafter: SATU) processes the personal data of visitors to its website.

We only collect data with your consent. We collect the minimum amount and only the information necessary for our communication to serve your purposes. We do not sell your information to third parties and use it only as described in this privacy policy.

What information do we collect and why?

Information about website visitors

If you simply browse our website, we collect the same basic information that most websites collect. We use standard internet technology solutions such as cookies and web server logs. We collect this information about all visitors. Among all the information collected about visitors is the visitor’s browser type, language preference, which website from and how the visitor arrived, the date and time of the visit. We also collect information that can potentially help identify a website user, such as the visitor’s IP address. We collect this information to better understand how visitors use our website and to monitor and protect website security.

Requests and offers sent through the website

If you contact us using any of the contact forms on the page (volunteers, offers, donations), we archive your information in our database, keeping the data necessary for processing and possible further discussions. By submitting your e-mail address and phone number to us through the form, you give us the right to contact you through them. We store your data in our database for up to two years.

Inquiries and offers sent by letter

If you contact us by e-mail, we will archive the data necessary to process your letter or request and possible further discussions. When we receive an email from you, we expect to be able to respond via email as well. If you prefer another method of communication, please let us know.

Use of cookies

In order for the website to function properly, the SATU website sometimes stores small data files – so-called cookies – on the guest’s device. Most of the big websites do this as well.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device during your visit. This allows the website to remember the user’s actions and preferences (for example, username, language, font size and other display preferences) for a certain period of time. That way, the guest doesn’t have to re-enter them every time.

How do we use cookies?

We may use cookies and cookie-like tools to analyze web traffic, improve user experience, and personalize it. Cookies may also be used by third parties whose services our website uses. By using our website, you agree that the website uses cookies.

How to control cookies on your device?

You can check and/or delete cookies as you wish. You can delete all cookies already on your computer and reject cookies at any time by changing your browser settings (if your browser allows it) or by stopping using the SATU website. Certain functions can only be provided by the website using cookies, and if you decide to refuse cookies, these functions may not be available.

Google Analytics and cookies

SATU uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies. Based on the collected cookies, reports are created and stored by Google. The corresponding rules are set out in Google’s privacy policy . You can prohibit the transfer of data collected by cookies (including IP address) to Google and the further processing of this data on Google servers ( according to the relevant Google instructions ).
